Earn College Credit While You Learn!
All of Dolphin Research Center’s Adult DolphinLab courses, as well as the Teen Basic DolphinLab, are fully college accredited through the Florida Keys Community College for an additional fee. Students in Teen Basic DolphinLab, All About Dolphins, Marine Mammal Cognitive and Behavioral Research, Marine
Mammal Care and Basic Training, and Advanced Marine Mammal Training and Enrichment can earn three college credits for each course taken, provided they complete the course requirements.

Fifty percent of your final course grade will be
determined by the extent of your participation in DolphinLab seminars,
workshops and class activities. Fifty percent will be determined by your
performance on the end of course exam. Exam answers will illustrate a
mastery of knowledge about dolphins, their ecosystem and related conservation
issues; answers given are to be correct according to current knowledge/research
as presented in the seminars, demonstrations and field activities and
reflect an understanding of major factual information contained within
all topics in the course outline. The exam will be given at Dolphin
Research Center on the last full day of the course.
Interested students will receive complete syllabi,
information and instructions upon arrival at Dolphin Research Center.
The additional fee to Florida Keys Community College
is charged separately from your DolphinLab enrollment. Payment can be
arranged after your arrival.
