 Have
you hugged a sea lion today? Here’s your
chance! Go behind the scenes in our sea lions’ home
and watch our lovely lady Karen interact with her
trainer. Her repertoire of behaviors is quite impressive!
One-by-one, you’ll step up to Karen’s
seat so she can wrap her flippers around you and
rest her pretty head on your chest! Hug her back
and smile while one of our photographers takes
your picture.
Hug the
Sea Lion is offered once a day on a walk-in basis for up to 15 guests. Must be at least 5 years old to participate. A participating adult must accompany children younger than 8. The program is available for an additional $30.00 with your paid admission to DRC. A CD with your photograph is included in the price of the program!
