Information You Provide – Most of the Dolphin Research Center web site can be viewed anonymously. However, some activities on our web site make it necessary to collect your personally identifiable information. For example, when you Adopt-A-Dolphin or join the Dolphin Society, we may collect your name, age, e-mail address, street and billing address, phone number and credit card information.

Information Collected from Children – DRC will not condition a child’s participation in an activity on the child’s disclosure of more personal information than is reasonably necessary. In addition, a parent may review the information collected from a child by accessing the child’s account. A parent may also have a child’s information deleted or refuse to permit the future collection of information from the child.

How does Dolphin Research Center use your personally identifiable information?

Dolphin Research Center uses your personally identifiable information in a limited number of ways. If you Adopt-A-Dolphin or join the Dolphin Society, we use your information to process the transaction. However, financial information is not stored by DRC after your membership request is processed. Other personally identifiable information may be used to contact you directly to discuss your membership, answer questions posed by you or inform you of special opportunities or promotions.

Dolphin Research Center does not share your personally identifiable information with other companies or organizations. However, we will share your personal information if we are required to do so by law. Examples include compliance with a court order or subpoena.
