| To ensure the maximum enjoyment of all our participants
and to ensure the happiness of our dolphins, we cannot guarantee
that all members of your party will swim at the same dock.
Dolphin Research Center welcomes people with disabilities to participate in our programs. We often need to make special arrangements and ask that we be informed of any disabilities at the time of making your reservation. Failure to do so may prevent you from participating during your reserved time and result in forfeiture of your program fee. If no one in your party has a special need, please continue with your online reservation.
If you have a physical or mental disability, we are happy to provide assistance at no extra cost. However, you must make
your reservation through our Special Needs Department. Please
contact us at specialneeds@dolphins.org. If email is unavailable, please call (305)
289-1121 Ext. 232, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00
PM EST. Our Special Needs Coordinator will be happy to assist
you with the special needs reservation.
Dolphin Encounter is a vigorous physical activity and, since
it occurs in a natural seawater environment with large, powerful
animals, it carries the potential for some risk of injury such
as bruises, scrapes, skin irritation and the like. You should
be in good health.
You may not swim if you are pregnant.
Please bring a towel and anything else you need for a comfortable
experience.
Life vests are available if you wish to wear one.
Dolphin Research Center recommends
guests wear wetsuits when the water temperature is below
66° Fahrenheit/19° Celsius.
We do not provide wetsuits, but they can be rented from local
dive shops.
